Grant David Hatchard

Hatchard, Grant David age 66 of Pinckney, MI Passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 23, 2011. Beloved husband of 37yrs. to Margarett (nee Stauch). Loving father of David (Mike), Clayton (Emily), Jim, Frank (Andrea). Dearest grandfather of Kayla, Alexis, James, Jaeger, Eli and Ian. Also survived by his beloved dog and “best friend” Toby. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald. Grant was the owner of Grant’s Automotive and Truck Repair in Ann Arbor. Before going into business for himself he worked as a mechanic for the City of Ann Arbor for 10yrs. He was a member of the MI Towing Assoc. Grant was also a long time member of Moose Lodge #1253. His favorite pastime was fishing and playing Blackjack. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28 from 4-8pm at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Ann Arbor. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Friday at the Dixboro United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery, Ann Arbor.
