Hey Ma...Marty! I know its been a while since you passed but just want to say hello and let you know I survived stage 4 aggressive cancer! I lost my speech from it also...but God saved me from cancer and restored my speech! Doctors say I am a walking miracle...my athiest doctor believes in God now...she was so astonished at how God kept me from dying!! See ya in heaven!! Hello, this is Christine Schallhorn and Jackie was a great friend of my Mom (Marie Schallhorn) and me. She used to cut my Mom's hair and did a great job every time. I pretty much grew up at the Moore's house and used to babysit Jackie's two kids Marcie and Marty when they were real little. I saw them once or twice when they grew up, but lost track of them. I am just now hearing of Jackie's passing and was devastated. I asked about her, when I hadn't heard from her in quite a while, and a co-worker at Meijer, where she used to work, told me of her passing. I loved her very much and she was a role model for me when I was growing up. Even know I am almost 60 now, back then she was 23 & I was 14. She was like a big sister. I will miss her. I hope it's not too late to write this. I admired her strength, courage, faith, and positive attitude. She was a wonderful person. I hope she didn't suffer. Love you Jackie! Say Hi to Mom up there!

My Mom left me with so many good things to live by! She was the most loving generous person I know. Miss you and will be cooking from your recipies untill the day I die!

Jackie, I will miss you! Not only for your great haircuts, but also for your kind and compassionate nature and your insightful and often humorous discussions about all things human. I always looked forward to seeing you. You left much too soon. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I have known Jackie for several years and shared our common interest in genealogy. She was a kind and caring person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her time came way to soon, as she had much more to give in life and many more things on her to do list.

I only saw Jackie about 9 times a year but always enjoyed our conversations.  She was a good friend and she will be missed.  To her family my deepest sympathy.

I've know Jackie for about 10 years and always looked forward to seeing her and hearing her latest insights about life. She was a passionate, spiritual-seeking person with a gift for caring deeply about those she loved. I'll truly miss her.

After many years of sharing holidays together, Jackie was like family to me - like a sister.  She was taken from us much too soon.  I will miss her all the more with each passing holiday.

I've known Jackie for 35yrs - she was the hardest working, most compassionate person I've known.  She was always working to better herself and her relationships with others.  She taught us all so much.  I will miss her and remember her always.  Kathy

Mom had many unique and exceptional qualities, but I think that her most extraordinary attributes were her empathy, compassion, and her ability to listen. Yes, she had a great sense of humor, nearly supernatural powers of observation, and incredible insights into the human condition, but her compassion for others' lives and her ability to simply listen and care about what you had to say are what I, and no doubt many others, will miss dearly.

Jackie was a very special person. Through her I learned so much about her children and grandchildren, who she loved and worried about. I will miss her very much, but am glad of all the memories of her that I do have.

May you rest in peace, and know aside from being a Mother you were my best and dearest friend. I hope in Gods plan he has somone who will love me and get me through the grief of your loss, and listen to me just when I need to talk, as you did for me my entire life. Every where we have been this week including the flower shop we bought your Flowers at, we have ran into one of your clients or, somone who knew you from Meijers. Jackie is probably having a blast up in Heaven finding all the missing clues to her ancestry research!  Seriously, though, I'm saddened by her leaving us when she still seemed to have a lot of life left in her.  I'll miss her both as a friend and as my long-time favorite hair stylist.  My prayers are with her family.

The world could use a lot more people like Jackie. She was taken from us much too soon. I will miss her both as a hairdresser and as a friend. I feel fortunate to have known her and very sad that she is no longer with us.

We are so sorry to hear of Jackie's death. She was a wonderful person who shared so much of herself with others. We are unable to attend the service but please know that we will always remember Jackie with warmest memories. Our prayers are with your family.
