She is survived by her children, Mark Wild, Kurt Wild and Susan Bondy; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
She grew up in Ypsilanti and graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1952. She graduated from Nursing school in Ann Arbor's Practical Nurse Program in 1953 and worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for twenty years. On September 25, 1954, Jane married Roland E Wild, deceased 2015, and built a home in Ann Arbor on the Northside.
Early on, Jane worked for the Homemaker Services, caring for the elderly in their homes. In 1983, Jane lost her eyesight to Macular Degeneration, but it did not stop her from doing things she loved: going to Northside Community Church, Turner Senior Center Book Lovers Club, and Kellogg Eye Center Support Group for Low Vision. She also worked with the University of Michigan art students program who were studying how people with low vision or blindness created art in clay sculpting. Her life was spent in service of others.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northside Community Church or the Macular Degeneration Research Fund at the University of Michigan.
