Jonathan “JJ” Warner, age 38, of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Jonathan was born January 14, 1984 to Mai and Jack Warner. He was born charismatic and adored and would continue these traits for the duration of his life.
His family and friends remember him as an intelligent, gifted, lovable people person, with a sharp intuition into a person’s character, a discerning curator of pop culture and social media, and a favorite person to be around at social gatherings. He was an excellent active listener, with a remarkable memory and he was always a loyal friend. He had a strong work ethic, and was a self taught handyman with admirable research skills. He worked various jobs in real estate and bartending. He loved riding his motorcycle, snowboarding, golfing and driving a tractor. He will be missed immensely by his friends and family.
Jonathan is survived by his parents Jack and Mai Warner from Saline, Michigan, his sister and brother-in-law Julie and Matthew McAskin, and their children, his beloved niece and nephew, Camilla and Colin, living in New York City, his brother Brian Warner living in Santa Barbara, California and his much loved Brussels Griffon, Duncan.
A visitation for Jonathan will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S 4th Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, followed by drinks and stories about JJ at Babs’ Underground from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church, 530 Elizabeth St, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104.
