Though he never truly knew the positive impact he made on this world, he has left behind many loved ones. Family was the most important thing in the world to Kurt, and he took so much pride in even their smallest accomplishments. He would have done anything in his power to help and protect his family in any way he could. We will miss his strength, loyalty and ready willingness to help.
Kurt had many passions in his life, he was a natural born sales man, he had a huge love for computers and all technology from a very young age. He greatly enjoyed science fiction in all forms. Kurt loved his pet cats, dogs and fish very much, they were like his children. Building, fixing, woodworking, and tinkering were things that brought him joy. He loved to read, and always had a thirst for knowledge. He loved to teach, be it in a classroom, a garage, in front of a computer, or over the stove.
When Kurt developed CRPS/RSD (a neurological disease) in 2011, life changed significantly for him and everyone around him. Although he spent the last few years of his life in CRPS pain, he did his best to persevere maintain his sense of humor and continue to stay hopeful.
Family will welcome visitors at Muehlig Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, August 24 between 1-3pm with services to follow. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations be made to: RSDSA (supports research for Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome), American Heart Association, or the Humane Society of Huron Valley as these were all organizations near and dear to his heart.
