Leigh Miller

Leigh Miller, aged 91, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. Leigh was born January 8, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Winnetka where he attended New Trier High School and then graduated from Amherst College in 1955. After graduation, Leigh moved back to Chicago to obtain his MBA from Northwestern University where he met his beloved wife Dorothy Schieber. They were married for 56 years living in Dearborn and Ann Arbor Michigan until her death in 2017. Leigh enjoyed an over 35 year career with Ford Motor Company as a financial analyst.

Leigh is survived by his sons Doug (Bess) Miller and Marc (Stephanie) Miller as well as his grandchildren Emma (Jake) Roberts, Grace Miller, Faith Miller and his great-grandson Logan Roberts.

He will be remembered for his wit, kindness, and love for his family. Leigh enjoyed nothing more than traveling the world with his wife Dorothy. He also enjoyed his friends and neighbors in northeast Ann Arbor. Leigh was active in various theater groups, played golf and practiced Tai chi right up until his later years.

There will be a Visitation at Meuhlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Fourth Avenue in Ann Arbor on Monday August 4th from 10:00AM until Noon followed by a brief memorial Service.
