Betty Ann Coughlin

Betty Ann Coughlin (nee Heise) passed away on January 2, 2019. Betty was born in Annapolis on December 13, 1925 to the late Doris and Ralph Heise. She graduated from Annapolis High School in 1942. Betty resided in Annapolis until 1965, Columbus, Ohio from 1965 to 1989, Kent Island from 1989 to 1998 and Columbus, Ohio again from 1998 until her death.

She enjoyed sailing, shelling, gardening and spending time at home with her family. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Annapolis and Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church in Columbus Ohio.

Betty is predeceased by her husband Edmond Coughlin (2003). She is survived by her children: John A. Coughlin and his wife Kathy of Honolulu, HI, Mary C. Hackett and her husband Mike of Columbus, OH, Mark E. Coughlin and his wife Jane of Columbus, OH, Daniel Coughlin and his wife Tina of Beaufort, NC, and Janice A. Coughlin of Columbus, OH. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, MD 21401 on Friday January 11, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church 109 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, MD 21401 on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 9 AM. Interment in Saint Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 will be greatly appreciated.
