This is indeed a sad day for many of us.
God has Sean on this day one year later.
Today, as is so happens, we have ratified the selling of the old
Milford Mill Road Church that Sean gave us to list a few years
back.
Elizabeth and I will always cherish our friendship.
We will always hold you close to our hearts!
I will always love the music we played together.

Dear Susan, Chris, and the entire Whaley family:

It's taken me a bit to write because, frankly, I had to get over the shock of such a deep and cutting loss. Sean was everyone's friend. He was the one I always turned to for recommendations on home repair, or thoughts about everything from the state of our health to the state of the world. A man of God who loved his family more than life itself, Sean was one of the kindest persons I've had the pleasure to know and call my friend. Know that his impact on those around him, like me, will continue on. Wishing you peace and love. 

Dear Susan and Chris -
We are deeply saddened for your great loss of such a wonderful man. Sean was everything a neighbor and friend could be. He was the one you could always count on to lend a hand whenever you needed one. He loved to talk about his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren. We will miss the smile on his face, his great sense of humor and companionship.

Only in eternity will this man's actions be reviewed and then the last 10 years I never met a man who made more sacrifices without ever considering himself in accordance to the uplifting of my life even though he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders this loss of this man cannot be replaced either on this Earth in  his family or in all of our lives that have known him  to his wife and son all I can express to you is thankfulness and amazement that two of your family members have given us so much in the short time that  we have them and I thank God for the sacrifices that the Whaley's made in this life for me it will never be forgotten

It was always a highlight of my visits to Annapolis/Antioch to connect with Sean.  Whether to and from the airport, having breakfast together, BOT meetings, etc. 
Our conversations were rich and always uplifting... not to mention all the laughing with his unique sense of humor. I will miss you amigo. You truly were one of the finest Christians I’ve ever called “friend”. Rest from your labors and see you on the other side.

Dear Whaley Family,
Rev. Sean was such a good man and great friend to us.
Everyone he introduced us to were also wonderful folks.
 We had planned a recording session this month to do some of the old classics we grew up on. We're going to really miss that.
We pray that you all pull through, and are certain that with God's help, you will.

Condolences to the family of Sean Whaley. This man of God will be greatly missed. He was a good friend of my husband and I for many years and always spoke positive,  encouraging words of wisdom.

Goodbye my friend.  It is through your sacrifice, loyalty and love that I will remember you.
When Mom passed away my family struggled finding a pastor to preside over her funeral.  She had been sick and not able to attend service anywhere and the kids and I lived out of state.  Mike reached   out to you and without hesitation you agreed to do it.   No one else would have had the perfect words to speak or showed the kindness and love like you did.  I am forever grateful.
I will be praying for Susan and Chris.  Give Shannon a hug for all of us and rejoice in your salvation because you have made it...you’re free.
