

Victoria Norine Felice, formerly of Geneva, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, November 15th with her family by her side. The sixth of eight daughters, she was predeceased by her parents, James and Angelina Felice, and sisters Annina Cirencione, Mary Costa (John), Jenny Quartaro (John), Rosina Emery (Arthur), Lucy Felice, Elsie Harding (John), and Stella Cecere (Michael). She was also predeceased by nieces Roseangela (Punkie) Cirencione and Melanie (Mimi) Cecere Ninfo. Miss Felice was born in Geneva, and lived in the family home on North Genesee Street until moving to Annapolis, Maryland to be near her nephew, Michael L. Cecere, III, in 2013. A graduate of Geneva High School, she was one of the first employees hired by the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, rising to the position of Secretary to the Director, and worked there until her retirement in 1990. Miss Felice, known as Vivi to her nieces, nephews, and their friends, had a passion for the color purple which was evident in her clothing, jewelry, and cars. She also used it extensively in her home decorating, both inside and out. Her former home in Geneva sports a purple front door, garage door, and mailbox. She traveled extensively throughout her life, including trips to Italy, Israel, Egypt, Germany, Austria, England, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Hawaii. In addition to her nephew, Michael Cecere and wife Susan, Miss Felice is survived by Felicia Allison of Middletown, NY; Candice Williams (Jim) of North Canton, OH; Maria Bower (Kerry) of Clifton Springs, NY; Vikki Fitchett (Eric) of Blacksburg, VA; Jane Harding (Jeff Campbell) of Mt. Vernon, OH; John Harding, Jr., of Fayetteville, NC; and Jennifer Harding (Doug Ware) of Plymouth, MI. Miss Felice was also much loved by great nephews and nieces: Jakki Emery, Michael Emery, Renee Maalouf, Jimmy Williams, Michael L. Cecere, IV, Thomas Cecere, Danica Deruyter, Leah Fitchett, Erica Fitchett, William Harding, Erin Harding, Alex Ware, Adam Ware, and Ryan Ware, and several great grandnieces and nephews. Interment will take place at the mausoleum at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Geneva; arrangements by DeVaney Funeral Home.
