

Loraine was born in Akron, Ohio on June 9, 1938 and grew up in Wellington, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Mildred Beaird. Loraine was a loving friend and caregiver to countless friends. Besides her husband, Wayne, Loraine leaves her daughters, Donna Hall (Buff Hall) of Birmingham, Debra Andrews of Eastaboga, Renee Rowan (Robert Rowan, Jr.) of Jacksonville, and son, Shane Roney of Anniston. Loraine also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Todd Langley, Hillary Blackwell, Drake Thornton, Krystal and Tyler Greenwood, Olivia Rowan, Zakary Roney and her beloved great grandchildren Emma Norton, Allana, Breanna and Easton Kenney, Collin and Yana Langley, Brantley Blackwell and her sisters Ruth Whetstone (James R. Jr) of Oxford, Elizabeth Sue (Hugh) Barnett of Augusta, GA and Lucy (Steve) Wilde of Jacksonville,
Loraine was Property Manager for Chase Properties and retired from Classie Ribbon. Loraine was an amazing person and a hard working woman. She loved gardening, deep sea fishing and horseback riding. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She attended Duke School and graduated from Alexandria High School. At Loraine’s request she will be cremated and buried at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Webster’s Chapel community. Memorial service in celebration of her life will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m.
