Annie Ruth Jacks

Annie Ruth is survived by her sons Phillip Jacks (Joy); and Roger Jacks (Rhonda); her grandson Matthew Jacks (Candi), her granddaughter Riley Ham (Dallas) and her great grandchildren William Jacks, Andrew Folsom, Ally Folsom, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Jacks; her parents Macon and Adel Smelley; her brothers Alvin and Raymond Smelley, and her sisters Allene Littlejohn and Lola Brimer.

A celebration of life for Annie Ruth will be Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Bill Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dallas Ham, Joe Glad, Larry Brimer, Neal Chandler, Mickle Webb and Bud Webb.

Annie Ruth was an 80 plus year resident of Oxford, Alabama and a member of Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church. She was family oriented and a devoted grandmother.
