Memorial services for Benjamin Floyd Carnes, Jr., 65, of Delta will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Carnes passed away, Friday, September 21, 2012.
Mr. Carnes is survived by his daughters, Grace (Matt) Ogle, Megan (Landon) Holley and Katie Carnes; grandchild, Madilyn Holley; mother, Helen Carnes; and brother, David (Phyllis) Carnes. Mr. Carnes is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin F. Carnes, Sr.
Mr. Carnes was employed Johnson Controls and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He served in the National Guard and was a graduate of Saks High School and attended Jacksonville State University. He was a member of First Baptist Church of McClellan.
