Beuna Mae Walters

Graveside service for Mrs. Beuna Mae Walters, 77, of Bynum, will be 1:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2012, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland with Rev. Ben Rossier officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Walters died Friday afternoon at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, John F. Walters Sr.; children, Betty Holbrook and husband Leo, John F. Walters Jr., Constance “Connie” Esposito and husband Frank and Bonita “Bonnie” Overshon and husband Mike; grandchildren, Matthew Holbrook, Randi Seaborne and husband Brian, Kelli Godfrey and husband Davy, Stacy Blair and husband Benjie and Summer Jennings and husband Cody; Sisters, Jewell Phariss; brother, Marion Phariss and wife Lavanda; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Walters lived in Ashland for 30 years where she and her husband owned Hilltop Orchard and attended Liberty Baptist Church. Later they moved to Bynum where she attended New Haven Baptist Church.
