Funeral services for Charles Alan Goodwin, 61, of Anniston, will be held Friday, July 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Church of God with Bishop Jerry Irwin, Rev. Don Maddox and Rev. W. H. Ford officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Charles went Home to be with His Heavenly Father Tuesday morning, July 11, 2017. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Goodwin; brother, Steve Goodwin (Teresa); nephew, Ryan Goodwin; niece, Amanda Shaver (Ross); great-nephew, Luke Shaver; great-niece, Gracie Shaver; uncle, Doyle Newton (Boniza); grandmother, Erenstine Wolfe; and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Carlos Payne, Phil New, Randall Wilkinson, Ray Guthrie, Donald Clark, and Ladon Herring.
Charles had been part of the Harvest Church of God family all his life. He served our country in the United States Navy. He was very loving and will be deeply missed by all.
