Charlotte Klein Klein Torony

ANNISTON – Funeral service for Mrs. Charlotte Klein Torony, age 86, will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2011 at Chapel Hill Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Torony passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Torony is survived by her daughter, Gabriele Torony of Heidelberg, Germany, Shirley A. Kenney (Bo) of Masontown, PA; sister, Emmi Feuerstein of Leiderbach, Germany; grand-children, Roberta Botti, David Kenney, Susan Kenney, Robert KennEy; great-grandchildren, Amy Hiles, Natalie Choushore, Brietta Kenney, Mariah Kenney, Brandon Kenney and Wilfried Krappek

Mrs. Torony was preceded in death by her husband, John Torony U.S.A. Retired.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Mrs. Torony was born in Frankfurt, Germany and current resident of Anniston. She and her husband moved to Ft. McClellan in 1958. She was known for her love of animals and was credited with bringing the first poodles to the Anniston area.
