Choe Kum Yong

Anniston - Funeral services for Mrs. Choe Kum Yong, 94 of Anniston will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Hak B. Moon officiating with burial following at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Yong passed away March 25, 2013 at RMC in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Yong is survived by her daughters, Su Conner, Ok Hwo Brown; son, Kee J. Son and wife Kyu; grandchildren, Eun Young Son Kwon and husband Jun, MinSu Son and wife Veronnica Reaves Son, Mary Conner Parris, Eva Gartman and husband Scott, Teresa Brumley and husband Tim, Kim Wachter and husband Jim, Don Lane and wife Karen and Les Lane; great grandchildren, Micah King Son, Minsu Prince Son II, JunYoung Kwon, Jun Ha Grace Kwon, Colton Brumley, Jake Brumley, Marissa Wachter, Mattea Wachter, Abigail Gartman, Brian Pankey Jr., McKinley Parris, Pelham Parris, Pressley Parris, Jordan Lane, Lauren Lane, Trevor Lane and Austin Lane.

Mrs. Yong is preceded in death by her daughter, Kil Hwa Knott and son-in-law, Harold H. Conner.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Yong was a native of South Korea and a member of Anniston Korean Presbyterian Church.
