Graveside services for Christine B. Martin, 87, of Anniston, will be 11 am Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Gene Burns officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mrs. Martin died Sunday in Fairfax, Virginia.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty R. Smoot of Anniston, grandson, Richard A.T. Smoot of Fairfax, Virginia, two great-grandchildren, Joshua Smoot and Sarah Grace Smoot.
Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert R. Martin.
Pallbearers will be Richard Smoot, John Butler, C.J. Clark, Joshua Smoot, and Fred Humphreys.
Mrs. Martin was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. She was a member of Iron City Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin spent her final years with her daughter, grandson and great-grandchildren in Fairfax, Virginia.
