David Finch

2 pm Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Eric Snider and Tommy Munroe will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.

David Wayne Finch, born October 27, 1948 went home to meet his savior on May 17, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by sons, Ronald Finch (Margo) and Rickey Finch (Delta); daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Finch Vermillon (Richard); brother, Randall Finch (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Tyler Finch (Lindsey), Heather Zamora (Victor), Ashley Finch, Casey Finch and Josh Davis; great-grandchildren, Cayden Finch, Cayce Finch, Vayda Zamora, Kinleigh Finch, Ethan Finch and Pasilee Finch; special cousin, Carolyn Lucas; and special friend, Sharon Titter.

He is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Finch; father, Sparks Finch; and mother , Vada Opal Finch Wallace and step-father, Grady Wallace.

David was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He worked at Bellsouth for over 30 years to provide for his family. In his younger years, David enjoyed coon and deer hunting. He loved his dogs Bonnie and Bitsy. David will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
