Graveside Service for Mrs. Debra Stillwell Stewart, 72, of Ohatchee, will be held at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 11 am. The family will receive visitors from 10:30 until the time of graveside service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart was born on December 13, 1948 and died at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden on January 3, 2021.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her sweetheart husband of 53 years, Charlie Stewart; daughter, Stephanie Heathcock (Jason), Marcia Sims (Jamie); grandchildren, Jade Heathcock (Laura), Kami Shea Heathcock and Maddie Sims; great-grandchild; Jace Martin Heathcock; siblings, Veronica Epperson (Alton), Wayne Stillwell (Martha) and Teresa Lott (Larry) as well as a host of nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Stewart, was preceded in death by her daughter, Cammie Stewart, and brother, Robert Stillwell (Johnnie Sue); parents, Roscoe and Ruby Stillwell.
Pallbearers will be Jade Heathcock, Tim Lehr, Lance Lehr, Lloyd Lehr, Drew Wilson, Randy Adams.
Mrs. Stewart was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and a loving grandmother, known as “Nana”. She had many joys in life - one was spending time with her grandchildren and being there for all their accomplishments. She loved spoiling her son-in-laws, painting and antiquing with her daughters, and hunting with her husband. Also known as Aunt Deb, was proud of all her nieces and nephews, even the ones that wasn’t blood related.
She a had a quick wit, wonderful sense of humor and loved to reach out to many people’s hearts. She will be greatly missed! She attended the Methodist Church of Ohatchee and graduate of Ohatchee High School.
