Dewey is survived by his daughter Michelle Finley (Joey); his sister Dorothy Nell Higgins and his brother Tony Jenkins (Donna); his grandchildren Jared Settlemire (Kaley), Ethan Finley, Lucky Finley and Gage Finley.
Dewey is preceded in death by his wife Jo Elizabeth "Libby" Jenkins; his son Rocky Mark Jenkins; and his parents Dewey and Reathie Jenkins.
A graveside service for Dewey will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Anniston Memorial Gardens, 4000 US Highway 431, Anniston, Alabama 36206 with Bro. Chris Connell officiating.
Dewey served in the Army early in his life and later retired from General Dynamics and M & H Valve. He enjoyed bonding with friends and family while supporting the Braves and Alabama. He loved Alabama football. He was loved by his friends and family and will be missed greatly.
