Memorial service for Edward Wayne “Eddie” Butler, 46, of Anniston, will be 3 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Tim Holder officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 – 3 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Butler passed away on Saturday at his residence.
Survivors include his son, Joel Butler, daughter, Holly Butler, mother, Hilda Butler, sisters, Sherri Dew (Donald) and Julie Brown (Bobby), grandmother, Gertrude Lane, mother-in-law, Harriet McWhorter, nephew, Kenny Gardner and niece, Kari Gardner.
Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his wife, Tammie Butler, father, Edward Butler and sister-in-law, Christie McWhorter.
Mr. Butler was a native of Calhoun County. He was Baptist by faith. Mr. Butler was a huge Alabama football fan. He played and coached basketball for many years. He was a loving father, son, brother and grandson who will be dearly missed. Online condolences may be made at www.graybrownservice.com
