Elizabeth is remembered with deep respect and gratitude as a compassionate, faithful, and devoted woman whose presence brought comfort to those around her. Thoughtful in word and deed, she carried a kind-hearted spirit that made others feel seen, valued, and cared for.
Above all else, Elizabeth loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Her family was her greatest joy, and she held them close with steady devotion and enduring tenderness—an affection that remained constant through every season of life.
Elizabeth also found happiness in the simple pleasures that brightened her days: Alabama Football, time at the beach, and shopping. These interests, enjoyed with warmth and enthusiasm, reflected the gentle delight she took in everyday moments.
A cherished part of Elizabeth’s life was her love of ministering, and she held a special love for people in Cunningham Texas. In quiet, faithful ways, she offered encouragement and care, living out her devotion through service and sincere concern for others.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hertzog; her sons, Sam Brasher and Tim Brasher; and her grandchildren, Hunter Brasher and Kaylee Jeter.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Brown (Tim); her son, Scott Brasher (Christine); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Brown, Jennifer Brown (Alabama), Beth Hayes (Taylor), Brittany Lindsey (Justin), Hayley Brasher (Texas), and Cole Jeter (Florida).
Elizabeth will be remembered as beloved and deeply cherished—faithful in her care for others, devoted to her family, and gentle in the way she moved through the world. Her memory will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew and loved her. Proverbs 31:26, & 31:31
