Evelyn T. Thomas Stedham

Alexandria – Funeral service for Mrs. Evelyn T. Stedham, 66,of Alexandria will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. David Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stedham passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Stedham is survived by her daughters, Sherri S. Hopkins and husband Rodney of Alexandria, Stacey S. Adams and husband Shawn of Weaver, Summer Murray Moses and husband Josh of Oxford; brothers, Bobby Thrash and Donnie Thomas; special sister, Paula Burt; grandchildren, Logan Hopkins, Morgan Hopkins, Forrest Richter, Griffin Adams, Tyler Murray and Andrew Moses; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Hopkins, Shawn Adams, Josh Moses, Forrest Richter, Griffin Adams, Tyler Murray and Jimmy Dodd

Mrs. Stedham was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun Co. where she was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church, a retired Beautician from the Oriental and Fountain of Youth Beauty Salons and a Member of The Southern Flames of Alabama Red Hat Society Chapter 26748

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Stedham; parents and one sister.
