Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldean Patterson Igou, 96, of Anniston, will be Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at the chapel of Gray Brown Service with Dr. Alan Medders and Sr. Adult Pastor Tim Shultz officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family would like to welcome friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Igou passed away on December 20th, 2023.
She is survived by her son, Danny Patterson and his wife Delilah; grandchildren, Phoenica Greenhaw and her husband Craig, Katrina Powers and her husband Bucky; great grandchild, Haley Powers, including several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Igou is preceded in death by her parents Forney and Maude Shuffield; husbands, Earl Patterson and Joe Igou; sisters, Louise Medders, Mattie Frances Shuffield, Gladys Shuffield.
Geraldean was a life long resident of Calhoun County and a member of Golden Springs Baptist Church.
The family wishes to express thanks to all who sent cards and made visits; and a special thanks to Tim Shultz for all his visits and calls during her long illness.
