Geraldine Hunter Beecham

Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Hunter Beecham, 84, of Piedmont, will be Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, with Blane Tidwell officiating. The family would like to welcome friends at 10:00 a.m., prior to service time. Mrs. Beecham passed away on May 10th, 2025.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Schocks, Billy Beecham and his wife Kathy, AKA, That Girl, and Dale Beecham; grandchildren, Wesley Beecham, Brian Beecham, Bradley Beecham, multiple great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Beecham is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Beecham; son, James Franklin Beecham; parents, Charles and Flora Hunter.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Jeffery Hunter, Jimmy Hunter, Paul Hooper, Bradley Beecham, Brian Beecham, and Homer Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Beecham.

Geraldine was a loving mom who also cared so much for others around her. She was such a good cook and loved to make candy; especially her peanut brittle. She loved to garden and developed a love for canning. Some of her favorite things to do were going to yard sales, Trade Day, flea markets, and any antique shopping she could do. She is loved by so many and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
