Funeral service for Mrs. Glenda Crow Rinker, 74, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Rinker passed away Friday, June 10, 2016, at UAB.
Mrs. Rinker is survived by her children, Michelle Ivey and Michael Rinker; grandson, Matthew Ivey; brother, Farris Crow Jr.; niece and caregiver, Jamie Crow Scott, and special friend, George Oliver Williams. Mrs. Rinker is preceded in death by mother, Margaret Glass Crow; father, Farris W. Crow Sr., and brother, Joseph E. Crow.
Mrs. Rinker was a lifelong resident of the Saks community and a graduate of Anniston High School Class of 1960. She retired from working for the Army in Transportation and CDTF after over 20 years of service. Mrs. Rinker had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She cared deeply for her family, especially her favorite and only grandson. She will be missed by all who knew her.
