A private memorial service will be held by his immediate family.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Myra Ervin; his children, Jerry Ervin, Peggy Johnston and husband Jack, Lela Roper, Phillip Ervin and wife Connie, Ted Ervin and wife Jennifer; six grandchildren, Jack Jr. and wife Shannon, Toni, P.J., Josh, Michael and Justin; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Hunter, Van and Lauren; and brother, Henry Ervin.
Mr. Ervin is preceded in death by his son, David Ervin; parents, Joe and Lela Ervin; four brothers and three sisters.
