Ima Vean (Denney) Bright

Memorial services for Mrs. Ima Denney Bright, 76, of Weaver, will be 1 pm Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Hall Chapel Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Hollis Martin and Rev. Johnny Glasgow officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 – 1 pm at the church. Mrs. Bright passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, James Bright, her children, Jeff Cason (Arlene), Darlene Glasgow (Johnny), Lenell Johnson (Paul), James Bright and Belinda Grower (Fran), 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bright is preceded in death by her parents, Truman Denney and Amy Wiggins Denney, siblings, Leonard Denney, Leathie Denney Arnouville and Troy Lee Denney.

Mrs. Bright was a native of Georgia a resident of Weaver, Alabama. She was a member of Halls Chapel Congregational Holiness Church. Mrs. Bright enjoyed working her booth at Collinsville Trade Day and the Apple Barrel.
