Funeral service for Jacquelyn “Jackie” Smith Kines, of Anniston will be Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Gray Brown Service Chapel with Dr. Tommy Miller Officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Kines passed away Thursday in Anniston.
Survivors include her husband James “Jimmy” M. Kines Sr., of Anniston, daughter Julie Michalenko (Joseph); sons Steven Smith (Kim) and Eric Smith (Alice); sisters Barbara Demand (Dan), Helen McGurk; brother Raymond Johnston (Michelle); grandchildren Heather Smith, Danny Smith, Ashley Smith, Megan Smith, Gabe Smith, and Linsey Smith; step-children, James M. Kines Jr. (Lisa), Jeffrey Mark Kines (Amy) and Julie M. Kines.
Mrs. Kines is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Elizabeth Johnston and brother Michael Johnston.
Pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Joseph Michalenko, Jeffrey Kines, Michael Kines, Seth Kines and Jared Kines.
Mrs. Kines was a native of Pennsylvania and a resident of Anniston for the past 24 years.
