Funeral service for James Edward Burrage, 59, will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Burrage passed away Tuesday at RMC.
Survivors include his brother, David Alan Burrage (Karen); sister, Rebecca Lazenby; nieces and nephews, Adam Burrage (Shelley), Kari Burrage, Misty Blackstone (Jim) and Christy Rodgers (David); great-nieces and nephews, Jordan Rodgers, Brooklee Coffee, Destanee Coffee, Daniel Blackstone, Zeta Coffee, Mason Blackstone, Archer Burrage and Abbey Burrage.
Mr. Burrage is preceded in death by his step-father, James Hollingsworth; father, Lewis William Burrage and mother, Pearl Hollingsworth.
Pallbearers will be David Rodgers, Jim Blackstone, Patrick Harrison, Tim Burgess, Danny Waters, Clay Rowan, Billy Hurst and Doug Strautman.
Mr. Burrage was a native of Anniston, loved NASCAR racing and was an avid Auburn Football fan. War Eagle!
