

Funeral services for James Kirby Mullinax (Paw), 83, of Anniston will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Pastor Brad Mullinax and Rev. Harold Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Coldwater Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday night at the funeral home.
Mr. Mullinax passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012, at his home.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Kay Mullinax of Anniston; sons, Andy Mullinax (Debby) of Coldwater, Randy Mullinax (Judy) of Coldwater; daughters, Frances Coppock (Randy) of Bynum, and Patty Parton (David) of Ohatchee; grandchildren, Karen Dixon, Valerie Broom (Jonathan), Kimberly Powers (Josh), Ellie Nelson (Josh), Leigh Anne McCareeth (Roger), Dean Coppock, Bryan Coppock, Christy Bentley (Patrick), Brad Mullinax (Bethany), Wendy Bumpers (Steven), Paula Parton, and 18 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Bentley, Dean Coppock, Bryan Coppock, Taylor Mullinax, Roger McCareeth, Jonathan Broom, Josh Powers, Josh Nelson, and Steven Bumpers.
Mr. Mullinax was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He retired from Anniston Foundry and worked at the Anniston Star and Lea & Mike groceries for many years. He also served in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Mullinax loved his family, Braves baseball, and Wellborn football.
