Alexandria – Funeral service for Mrs. Jeanette Sue Carden, 73, of Alexandria, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Slick officiating. The family will receive friends, 11:30 until service time Saturday, December 29, 2012 with burial at Crook Cemetery to follow.
Mrs. Carden passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Carden is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Dodgen; sons, Scott (Lisa) Landers, George (Mary Jane) Landers; sisters, Debbie (J.B.) Brown, Mildred (Hugh) Watts, and Mot (Doug) Cobb; brother, Ralph “Poochie” (Linda) Nunnelly; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Watts, Mark Watts, Dewayne Brown, Larry Fondren, Shannon Landers, and Brandon Landers.
Mrs. Carden was a native and resident of Alexandria for most of her life. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. She was employed with Sweet Orr for 17 years, Imperial Reading for 15 years, and Anniston Sportswear for 3 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Irene Nunnelly; brothers, Jerry and James Earl Nunnelly.
