Jeffrey Robert Bonds Sr.

Jacksonville - Funeral services for Jeffrey Robert Bonds, Sr., age 53, of Jacksonville, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Bonds and Dr. Randy Postell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Bonds passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at UAB.

Survivors include his wife, Lawanna Bonds of Jacksonville; sons, Jeffrey Robert Bonds, Jr. of Montgomery and Shad Grissom (Jennifer) of Anniston; daughter Lena Grissom of Clearwater, FL; parents, John and Sarah Bonds of Anniston; brothers, Rev. Glenn Bonds (Debbie) of Clanton and Bryan Bonds (Emily) of Mt. Brook; nieces and nephews, Amy and Corey Clark, Jonathan Bonds (Kati), Miller Bonds and Anne Marie Bonds; Aunt Sybil Borden of Piedmont.

Mr. Bonds is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Bonds and mother, Nancy Turner Bonds.

Pallbearers will be Randy Brown, George Bonds, Bobby Burford, Doug Crow, Shad Grissom, Earl Lockette, Van Newman and Joe Hays.

Mr. Bonds was a member of First Baptist Church of Saks and a graduate of Saks High School.
