Jerry Edward Lackey

Ohatchee – Graveside services for Mr. Jerry Edward Lackey 66, of Ohatchee will be Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Danny Rodriquez officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6-8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Mr. Lackey passed on September 21, 2015 at his home in Ohatchee.

Mr. Lackey is survived by his wife, Mary Bryan Lackey; daughters, Carol (Robert) Boone, and Emily Lackey; sons, Tim (Emily) Lackey and Patrick (Pamela) Lackey; father, Edward Lackey; step-mother, Barbara Lackey; grandchildren, PJ Lackey, Drake Lackey, Victoria Lackey, Hannah Boone, Chloe Boone, Aubrey Lackey, and Hollis Lackey; great-grandchild, Jaxson Lackey; step-sister, Patsy Harrell; step-brothers, Randy, Eddie, and Bobby Garmon; nieces and nephews, Pam Cox, Marvin Hanvey, and Stacey Bennett.

Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by his mother, Maudie Lackey; sister, Diane Hanvey.

Mr. Lackey was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was of the Church of Christ faith. He graduated from Wellborn High School. He served in the US Marine corp, where he was a highly decorated combat veteran. Mr. Lackey loved the woodworking and bass fishing.
