be at 11 a.m. Wednesday,
May 26, 2010, at
Anniston Memorial Gardens
Cemetery with Dr.
Randy Postell officiating.
The family will receive
friends from 6 - 8 tonight
at Chapel Hill Funeral
Home.
Mr. Burgess passed
away Sunday, May 23,
2010 at NEARMC.
Mr. Burgess is survived
by his sons, Jackie
(Ann) Burgess, Dennis
(Shelia) Burgess; grandchildren,
Cody (Kris)
Burgess, Star (Shelton)
Somers, Cable (Nena)
Burgess, Seth (Shannon)
Burgess; great-grandchildren,
Aspen Burgess,
Jazlyn Burgess, Cara
Burgess, Alannah Burgess,
Gracie and Ava
Somers and Banks Burgess.
Pallbearers will be
family and friends.
Mr. Burgess was
founder and retired from
J & D Burgess Trucking
Company. He was a native
of Alabama and resident
of Anniston. He
was a 1945 Alexandria
High School graduate.
He served in the U. S.
Navy. He was a civilian
pilot and learned to fly
remote control airplanes
in Munford with friends.
He was preceded in
death by his parents William
and Mary Burgess..
