

Funeral service for Mrs. Johnnie B. Johnson, 89, of Anniston, will be 12:00 pm, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Stan Albright and Rev. Jim Usher officiating. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson died January 10, 2017 at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Amelia Scott (Larry); one son, Stanley B. Price; two grandchildren, Heather Holder Wilburn (Mark) and Stephanie Medlock (Roger); one sister, Sandy G. Helms of Apopka, Florida; and three great grandchildren, Brady Medlock, Jack Medlock and Caleb Holder. She is also survived by her very dear friend, John Austin of Oxford and three special nieces and one nephew.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel G. Johnson and C.B. Price; her son, Gregory A. Price; brother, Royce L. Bohannon; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard M. Bohannon of Jacksonville, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Elser, Howard Bain, Roger Medlock, Buddy Austin, Junior McGee and Johnny Warren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Medlock, Brady Medlock and Caleb Holder.
Mrs. Johnson was a retired Federal employee with service performed in Fort McClellan; Ala Sector Command, Birmingham, AL and Naval Training Center of Orlando, Florida. She returned to Anniston in 1999 where she has resided since that time. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oxford. She loved the outdoors, dancing, line dancing and her hobbies were aerobics, cooking, gardening and home decorating. She cherished her family and friends, loved her church and the Charity Sunday School Class. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and was known by her great grandchildren as ”Mimi”.
