Juanita was the kindest, most beautiful, caring and selfless soul you could ever meet. She loved her family and friends dearly and devoted her life to caring for others. She baked the best cakes and treats, sewed the prettiest dresses and grew the prettiest flowers. She loved to read and she loved animals, especially her beloved cat, Precious. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and deer and working in her beautiful flower gardens that were always filled with butterflies.
Juanita was born and raised in Peaceburg, AL, which is now known as Pelham Range. She was a graduate of Jacksonville High School, and prior to becoming a homemaker, she worked as a telephone operator in Anniston.
For over fifty years, she was a devoted member of Weaver Church of Christ, where her countless acts of service touched the lives of so many. From preparing meals for the sick and grieving, to sending heartfelt letters and cards to the unwell each week, her caring heart and selflessness served as an inspiration to all.
She will be dearly missed but cherished always in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
