Larry Dean Barker

Graveside services for Mr. Larry Dean Barker, 69, of Ohatchee, will be Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family would like to welcome friends on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mr. Barker passed away on August 28th, 2025.

He is survived by his children, Jessie Barker (Vannah Barksdale) and Hillary Barker (Jay Sanders); sister, Frances Trapp (Leon); brothers, Bobby Barker (Betty), Buddy Barker (Diane), Phillip Barker; sister-in-law, Dianne Barker; grandchildren, Ryleigh Barker, Micah Sanders, Jayden Sanders, La'tayah Embry, including numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Barker is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Barker; son, Christopher Barker; parents, Howard and Nellie Barker; brother, Billy Barker.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

Larry had a love for poker games. He loved his kids, grandchildren, his family and his wife of 49 years. He was a fan of Alabama football and was a truck driver for 40 years. At one time, he and Patricia proudly owned their own trucking company. He is loved deeply and will be missed by those who know him.
