Larry was survived by a niece, Lili Hildreth (Scot), sister-in-law, Elaine Burt; niece-in-law, Pam Montgomery great niece, Cristen Strickland (Marcus), and great-nephew Grant Copeland (Grace).
Preceded in death by his parents Burns and Mildred Montgomery; wife, Pamela L. Montgomery; sister, Phyllis Montgomery; brother, Jerry Montgomery and nephew, Johnny Montgomery.
Mr. Montgomery served honorably in the U.S. Air Force Vietnam War. He had many other distinguished life events starting with being an Eagle Scout. Afterwards, he was a DJ in Colorado for several years, and he later worked at the Oxford Police Department as a police dispatcher. Larry was an exceptional genealogist and researcher. He was an active member of Southern Fandom Press Alliance and made monthly contributions to the fanzine.He enjoyed watching football. He was an avid Alabama Football fan.
