Mr. Steele passed on Friday, July 1, 2016 in Cherokee County.
Mr. Steele is survived by his son, Brandon (Amy) Steele; brother, David (Judy) Steele; grandchildren, Austin Steele, and Kaitlyn Mitchell; sister-in-law, Lindy (Jeff) Adams; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Mr. Steele was preceded in death by his wife Sharman Renee Steele; parents, Alvin and Lola Steele; brother, Silas Steele.
Leroy was a native of Kentucky and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was employed at the Anniston Army Depot for 48 years.
Leroy loved Alabama football, spending time at the lake, and hanging out at his ranch in Wellington with his girlfriend, Debra Spears.
