

Funeral services for Loretta “Tinky” Gentry, 70, of Anniston, will be 2:00 pm, at 1st Weslyn Church, with Pastor Ron Hardy officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 5-8 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mrs. Gentry died Monday at her residence.
Survivors include son, Tracy Gentry and wife Johnnie; step-son, Ralph Gentry Jr. and wife Glenda; grandchildren, Nicholas, Jenni, Mark, Chris, Marsha and Shane; great grandchildren, Thatcher, Connor, Carson, James, Alona, William and Kaitlin; sisters, Annette Hakes, Mae McKinney and Ruth Brugen; brother, Tom "Bug" Stacks, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gentry is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Gentry Sr.; and parents, Tom and Sudie Stacks.
Pallbearers will be Mark Gentry, Chris Gentry, Shane Whitt, Wayne King, Jeff Arnold, and Owen Arnold.
Mrs. Gentry was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Anniston. She retired from Stringfellow Hospital and was a member of 1st Weslyn Church.
