Survivors include her daughter, April Hutchens (Joey); son, Christopher Ramsey (Donna); grandchildren, Christopher Blake Ramsey, Ashley Cheyanne Ramsey, Courtney Alexis Ramsey, Meghan Luyao, Madison Luyao, Michaela Luyao and Skylar Hutchens; sister, Delores “Del” Allen; and brother, David Dodd.
Mrs. Byers is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Betty Dodd.
She was a native of Louisiana and lived in Calhoun County for most of her life. She loved trade day and was an Alabama fan. Mrs. Byers will be cremated and the family request no flowers.
