Mary Helen Lipscomb was born on May 6, 1946, in Alabama. She passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 79. Mary is survived by her husband; David Lipscomb, daughter: Latesha (Jason) Joiner, son; Derrick Lipscomb, and step-son Chad Lipscomb, her grandchildren; Joshua (Avery) Joiner, Isaac Joiner, Hannah Joiner, Gunner Joiner and Shane Lipscomb, her great-grandchildren; Jaxton Joiner, Khloe Lipscomb, and Avery Lipscomb, her sisters; Shelby (Dewey) Lowe, and Sandra (Ricky) Junior and her brothers; Leon and Leroy Brown.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Ransom and Lois Brown and nephew Torrey Lowe. The active pallbearers will be Joshua Joiner, Isaac Joiner, Joshua Hicks, Terry Howell, Aaron Wade and Parker Wade.
Services for Mary will be Saturday December 13, 2025 at 1PM at Joyview Heights Church of God with sister Lillie Hicks and Bro Ray Morris officiating. Burial will follow at K.L. Brown in Jacksonville Alabama. The family will receive friends two hours before the service.
As a native of Calhoun County, Mary grew up and lived in White Plains Alabama. She married the love of her life, David Lipscomb of 46 years. She was an active and beloved member of Joyview Heights Church of God, serving the Lord for almost 30 years. She loved her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved working in the yard and cooking for her loved ones.
