Weaver – Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Helen Spears, 80, of Weaver will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Wells officiating with burial to follow at Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Spears passed on November 1, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Spears is survived by her daughter, Connie Spears; and four legged friend, Bubba.
Pallbearers will be Andy Vanhorne, Dwain Broughton, Donny Broughton, Ricky Wilson, and Alex Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Snead and Billy Entrekin.
Mrs. Spears was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver R. Spears; son, Oliver Ray Spears Jr.; parents, Clyde and Edith Roach.
Mrs. Spears worked in the Weaver elementary School lunch room for many years. She was a military wife, and a loving mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
