

Funeral service for Mildred Jane Watts, ,79 of Alexandria, will be 11 am Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Mitchell Muns and Bro. Thomas Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Mannings Chapel Cemetery in Clay County. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mrs. Watts passed away at RMC on Monday morning.
Survivors include her children, Mike Watts (Anita), Mark Watts (Susie) and Teresa (Rik) Couch; grandchildren, Trisha Owens (Chad), Jacob Watts (Alex), Holly Watts, Anna Lewis (James), and Valerie Turley (John); great-grandchildren, Laycee Owens, Kolton Owens, Fisher Watts, Harper Watts, Harlee Watts, Meagan Turley, David Turley, and Morgan Gaines (AJ); great great grandchild, Brayleigh Gaines; sister, Martha Cobb (Doug); and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Watts is preceded in death by her husband, Hughlon B. (Red) Watts; brothers, Jerry Nunnelly, James Earl Nunnelly, and Ralph Nunnelly, sisters, Jeannette Carden, and Debbie Brown; parents, Ralph and Irene Nunnelly; and grandson, Justin Scott.
Pallbearers will be Chad Owens, James Lewis, Dewayne Brown, David Turley, John Turley, and Jacob Watts.
Mrs. Watts was a lifelong resident of Alexandria. She retired from Jacksonville Hospital with over 30 years of service.
