A visitation for Nathan will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Nathan is survived by his wife Laverne McCard; his sisters Gradis Nell Jackson, Shirley Ellison, Faye Stansell, Myrtle Phillips and Joyce Freeman; his brother Vernon McCard and several nieces and nephews.
Nathan is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Gussie McCard; his sisters Reba Turner and Gean Brown and his brother Marion McCard.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Jackson, Scotty Warren and Gerald Freeman.
Nathan enjoyed fishing, hunting and his Beechnut Chewing Tabacco. He loved his family and his furrbabies. He was loved greatly by his wife and family members and will be greatly missed.
