

ANNISTON – Funeral service for Mrs. Patsy Scoggins Chandler, age, 73, will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends 1 – 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chandler passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at her residence after a battle with leukemia.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen H. (Alan) Needham of Alexandria; son, Tony A. (Fran) Hall of Weaver; brother R. Craig Scoggins of Palm City, FL; grandchildren, ET3 Kelly A. Hall, Alana K. Needham; great-grandchild, Teagan Shiflett, nieces and nephews, Beverly Flemming, Keith Sexton, and Darrell Sexton.
Mrs. Chandler was also survived by 2 step-sons, Bobby (Phyllis) Chandler of Saks, Steve (Janice) Chandler of Alexandria.
Pallbearers will be Billy Seabourn, Darrell Sexton, Keith Sexton, Brantt Thompson, Johnny Prince, and Brandon Gay. Honorary pallbearers will be Erle Maner and Richard Hall.
Mrs. Chandler was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston, AL. She attended Anniston High School. She was employed at Anniston Army Depot for 25 years. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace E. Chandler, parents, Wesley L. and Sallie M. Scoggins, sister, Jerry M. Sexton.
