Anniston – Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Irene Smith, 77, of Anniston will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Leslie Bailey officiating. The family will receive one hour before the service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith passed on May 30, 2015 at RMC in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Jerry Smith; daughter, Fredia Smith; son, Randall Smith; brother, Cary Parris; step grandson, Wade Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Randall Parris, Lafayette Brown, James Lee Brown, Frank Smith, Bruce Thomas, and Wade Thomas.
Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County; retired from JSU and was a member of Hall’s Chapel Congregational Holiness Church.
