He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Fulton Carroll and his grandparents, Floyd and Lucille B. Surrett.
Survivors include a daughter, Madison Dawn Gunter, grandchildren, Raelynn and Ryker, parents, Terry and Sandra Pugh of Weaver, siblings, Michael Pugh, Michelle Salmon and Tony Carroll. Also, his fiancé and caregiver, Debbie Bronson of Oneonta, AL
