Funeral services for Timothy Ray “Tim” Cates, 33, of Anniston, will be 1:00 pm, Friday, February 15, 2013 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial will follow at Coldwater Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Jean Cates; grandmothers, Nadine Denham Cates and Marlene Martin Edwards; special friend, Cynthia Waits; several aunts and uncles; and numerous close friends.
Mr. Cates is preceded in death by his father, Gerry Cates.
Mr. Cates was a 1997 graduate of Alexandria High School and was employed by Precision Automotive in Pell City. He loved NASCAR and was an avid Alabama fan.
